Teradata announced several new capabilities to its database that take advantage of new technology including the new Teradata Studio, Smart Loader and more.
WASHINGTON — Teradata, a provider of analytic data solutions, has announced new database capabilities that enable customers to deliver real-time agility.
The new Teradata Database capabilities include workload management features, Teradata Data Lab with Smart Loader, Teradata Studio and Teradata Virtual Machine Edition. With this announcement, Teradata taps into the more than 200 new capabilities released in the previous two years, including analytical innovations in the areas of columnar, geospatial, hybrid storage, private cloud and temporal. These most recent innovations simplify and automate database management, expand self-service and provide flexible deployment options, the company said.
Teradata announced the new capabilities at its 2012 Partners user conference here.
